Post-Secondary Supports

Post-secondary education is an important step for many people on the autism spectrum or with an intellectual disability who are looking for work. Postsecondary builds skills, knowledge and experiences needed to enter the workforce and succeed in a chosen career. It can also help people gain the knowledge, experience, confidence, and networks they need to reach their goals. But how do we help people learn about post-secondary options available to them that match their goals? What are some of the supports that exist that might help people transition into a program or course of study?

The resources on this page are meant to help you better understand postsecondary options and learn how to support people with an intellectual disability or on the autism spectrum connect to these supports and resources.
