Accommodations At and In Work

Changes to a job or work environment that help you do your job well are called accommodations or adaptations. For example, someone might need a quiet place to work or visual aids to help them with their work. Someone might need flexible work hours or a modified work process to make sure they can do their job well. It's important to know about accommodations because you have a right to ask for them. This means you can ask for the help you need to be successful at your job. When we have the right accommodations, we feel more comfortable and confident in our work, which makes us happier and more successful.

These resources are meant to help you understand what accommodations and adaptations are, how to talk about them, and what to expect from an employer.
